Our Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) IT Delivery organization supports end to end business processes with solutions by providing solution design & architecture, project implementation and service operations.
Your Mission as a SAP OM Functional Expert involves implementing business processes in SAP by using SAP best practices, collaborating with experts and teams, and supporting ongoing transformation projects with S/4HANA.
You will ensure the implementation of business processes within the IT application area of trade compliance using SAP best practices. This role involves collaborating with functional experts and business/technical teams to ensure that business requirements are fully understood and that solutions implemented meet business expectations. You will also support the BAU change processes of live sites and play a leading role in ongoing transformation projects leveraging S/4HANA.
You should have 15+ years of experience in similar roles, demonstrating a solid understanding of order management, logistics, and trade compliance processes. Your enriched experiences include working on at least five full-life cycle implementation projects and a solid understanding of project methodology and milestones. You have demonstrated the ability to lead client engagements and effectively manage teams, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to think analytically. Experience with S/4HANA, including Advance ATP, Supply Assignment (ARun), Supply protection, and BOP, is a distinct advantage.
Your daily responsibilities will include developing and maintaining SAP HANA S/4 Order to Cash solutions and architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexible processes for order management (OM) and depending on your background, the role may also include part of trade compliance (GTS). You will collaborate with different stakeholders within the business and IT teams to drive solutions that innovate, simplify, and support the ERP ecosystem within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions. You will evaluate and define solutions to meet Sandvik business requirements in line with the global architecture design, provide solution guidance to project teams, and develop and implement solutions within a program. You will be responsible for delivering projects in a collaborative team environment, managing process improvement in the OTC space, and driving delivery execution with internal and external teams.
What can you bring to our team? We hope you have a strong background in the manufacturing, mining, or related industry. You will bring with you a broad knowledge of the SAP ecosystem and the integration areas of Sales and Distribution with Finance, Materials Management, Logistics Execution, and other systems. You are a certified SAP expert with extensive experience in designing solutions in order management (OM) and also knowledge in global trade (GTS) is seen as an advantage. Experience with S/4HANA projects is essential in this role, and familiarity with Agile methods and a strong appetite for new technologies are highly valued.
