Welcome to the OT Center Of Excellence Team!
Operational Technology (OT) is increasingly important to ensure competitive production. Sandvikās business area Mining and Rock has therefore decided to set-up an OT Center of Excellence to establish and scale OT services to support the production facilities across the organization to take next steps and drive business value.
The initial design of the OT CoE has been developed. As a first step it will provide services and competence within four main business capabilities: Manufacturing Data Collection, Manufacturing Analysis, Plant Operations Monitoring and Plant Performance Management. Now it is time to take the next step and strengthen the team with an experienced OT CoE Manager.
We are now searching for a OT Center of Excellence Manager to join our Center of Excellence Team in SMR IT unit.
š The position is located in Tampere or Turku Finland or Stockholm, Sweden and we offer you a hybrid working model.
Would you be our new OT Center of Excellence Manager?
The OT CoE Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing the CoE implementation, ensure fruitful engagements and deliver value to key stakeholders in the production domain and continuously update and improve the offering.
The role combines experience and expertise within the production and OT domain, with entrepreneurship in making it happen in a large organization with large potential and many opportunities that require smartness to succeed.
The role ensures seamless integration between OT and IT and drives the adoption of best practices withing OT infrastructure and architecture. The OT Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including production teams and stakeholders, IT Team, Cybersecurity, IT Business Partners and country IT managers to develop and maintain a secure and efficient OT environment that aligns with business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders- and users within production and relevant IT ā and Cybersecurity teams to maintain a deep understanding of business needs.
- Engage with existing and potential consumers of OT services within the organization, identify opportunities and ensure fruitful collaboration in delivering on those opportunities.
- Direct supervisor for OT Excellence team.
- Drive development and ensure implementation of strategies for OT architecture- and infrastructure, in alignment with business and IT frameworks.
- Oversee development and manage the lifecycle of OT offerings and ensure compliance with regulations and standards relevant for Sandvik, such as NIS2 and IEC 62443.
- Monitor and optimize OT offerings related costs, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
- Manage OT-related project and ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and business value realization.
- Act as a liaison between OT-, IT-, and Business stakeholders to enhance communication and collaboration
Your background:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
- Proven experience in IT risk assessment, compliance, and cybersecurity in OT environments.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in OT/IT operations, infrastructure management, and/or industrial automation.
- Experience working with international teams and supporting IT in production settings.
- Bachelorās degree in production, Engineering or other relevant scientific field
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and traveling for work would not be a problem for you.
